Media Studies

Students were entered for G.C.S.E Media Studies for the first time in 2005 and it is proving to be a popular option choice. The course students follow is the WJEC syllabus. Many areas of the media are studied including cartoons, advertising, magazines, cinema and television. Students are given the opportunity to analyse, plan and make media texts themselves and gain a taste of the sort of opportunities that could be open to them in the media industry.
