Music

In addition to the formal timetable, all pupils have the opportunity to join various musical groups and contribute to public performances throughout the year. We have a thriving swing band and other, smaller, ensembles, including rock bands from most year groups. We currently offer instrumental music tuition and instrumental groups for: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Brass, Classical Guitar, Rock Guitar, Percussion, Strings, Piano, Keyboard and Voice. The peripatetic staff are employees of Music for Life who are able to provide additional performance opportunities for students throughout the year
