Year 11 A-level Information Evening
Thursday 15th February 2018 – 5:00pm to 7:00pm
The aim of this evening is to enable students and parents to speak to Heads of Subject and A-level teachers about the A-level courses that they hope to follow at Tarporley Sixth Form College. Appointments with staff will be made by Y11 students during the week beginning 5th February.
Some students will be undecided at this stage about which courses to pursue or whether or not they wish to stay on in Sixth Form. All students are welcome and should use this evening as an opportunity to find out more about studying A Levels at Tarporley Sixth Form College.
Mr Nuttall (Director of Sixth Form College), Mrs Everton (Pastoral Manager), together with the Senior Leadership Team will also be available to speak to throughout the evening. Additionally, there will be current Year 12 and 13 students who can speak to Year 11 students about life in Sixth Form College.
Students will be given an application form to fill in on the evening. Heads of Subject will sign the form following consultation to show that they are happy to accept that student on to the course, assuming that the required grades are achieved. Completed application forms can be submitted on the evening or on the following day – Friday 16th February.
Prospective students from other schools are very welcome to attend this evening.
Please email Mrs Everton firstname.lastname@example.org to express your interest and arrange appointments with the relevant subject tutors.
We look forward to seeing you on the evening of the 15th
