Homework

Homework at Tarporley High School is founded on the principle that it should be purposeful, clear and should complement a sequence of learning enabling students to apply and consolidate their knowledge and skills.  We recognise that homework can take many forms and may include revision, knowledge retrieval, application of learning or preparation for or practice of a specific skill.

All homework is recorded on EduLink by teachers so that students have access to all the information they require to complete their homework.

Homework will be set on the day allocated by the homework timetable so that it is spread out across the 10-day timetable cycle. However, this does not indicate that homework must be set each time on that day, the amount of homework set is determined by the frequency guidance in our Homework Policy.
